- The Opera Carolina Company was founded in 1948 in Charlotte, (USA). It combines stage, teaching and touring activities, helping children and families experience opera's masterpieces. Opera Carolina receives charitable support as well as grants from government agencies. The Hermes shop in Charlotte closed in 2017.
