Provencial country scenes, abrupt cliffs, pine trees and majestic cypresses... The carre Promenadeau pays de Cezanne portays a stroll through the artist's dearest spots. In the middle stands the primary subject of his works, Mount Sainte-Victoire, topped by a tall Alep pine tree. On the right is shown Bibemus quarry, from where was extracted the characteristic yellow stone of Aix-en-Provence.
