A moving tribute, by Hermes, to the saddlers and leather craftsmen who personify its origins and are, so to speak, its family. Inside the trunk, precious leathers and tools for precision work make up a magician’s kit. A punch, a stuffing iron, a pricker wheel, a clamp, an awl and a mallet form a guard of honour around the “Three Kings” saddle, which had pride of place for a time in Paris, in a display window at 24, Faubourg Saint-Honore.
