Night draws to a close; the sleeper does not wake from sleep, but escapes from it. The rays dispel evil charms and chase away nightmares. Sunlight bathes the room; joy breaks forth. The sparkle of life. Is it a day starting or a destiny opening up? The horizon over there could be that of liberty. A song of the Earth, a hymn to the act of renewal. Man’s laughter is not new but incessantly reverberating. No darkness can stifle it. Mirth does not age.
