Hermes Histoires De Carres - 2015 (As translated from Mandarin Chinese)
Horse-drawn carriage roaming
Hermes has always maintained a close and friendly relationship with the National Museum of Vehicles and Tourism in Gompine. The carriage presented in this square scarf is one of the most important collections in the museum. Wlodek Kaminski, who was deeply inspired by the collection, reproduced the rich and exquisite details of the carriage in a delicate way on the square scarf. In 1808, when King Ferdinand VII of Spain was forced to leave Madrid, he did not choose a gorgeous carriage, but chose this sturdy and durable carriage. When Prince Tallerand of France received him at Valence Castle, he was deeply impressed by the Gothic appearance of the carriage. Later, when the king left, the carriage was abandoned in the castle, and it was not until the beginning of the 20th century that it attracted the attention of an antique dealer. Since then, the carriage has attracted the attention of a car dealer, and finally became a collection of the National Museum in the 1950s.
