With this double-sided scarf, the artist Pierre Marie looks back on ten years of creativity for the house of Hermes, from L'Ombrelle magique designed in 2010, to the recent Duels Oniriques. The countless references bear witness to the variety of themes covered by the artist. Delicate vegetation, playing cards, mosaics and a multiplicity of geometric shapes overlap to create different registers and form an extravagant collage. In the lower left corner, we can see one of the designs from La Maison des carres, while above it, a sideways hourglass reminds us of the extraordinary composition of Le Laboratoire du temps.
