Histoires De Carres > Printemps-Ete 2012
A scarf comprised of a horse comprised of scarves comprised of horses: what a curious labyrinth. And a curios horse, thus stabled in this in this armour. One can see in it inspiration drawn from Medieval illuminations, where the multitude of embellishments dazzles the eye. Or, perhaps from Japanese engravings in which horses are weighed down by brocade. But here, rather than brocade, silk adorns, radiant and fresh! Dressed in scarves, the battle steed parades and leads us through our imagination into the history of the house, in these equestrian decorations that punctuate its history: Carrousel, Saumur, Les Courses and La Ronde des Jockeys.
