Le Carre Hermes Paris >> Automne - Hiver 1994 / 95
The mandala is that concentric representation of the universe in which the Buddhist soul gladly loses itself. Let's play homage to the beauty of Tibetan mandalkas from the 15th and 16th centuries. In the foliated scrolls that stretch toward the corners outside the three circles, the lion, the horse, the stag and the eagle chase each other, while the sun sits enthroned on the alter that we could reach through a door cut out of the exterior wall. In the center, the primordial flame flickers.
