- Emile Gale, born in Nancy, France (1846-1904)is a French industrialist, master glass-maker, cabinet-maker and ceramist. Galle always devoted himself to a true cult of nature, which was his main source of inspiration. In June 2009, the Academy Stanislas and the National Academy of Metz paid tribute to him through the exhibition: "Emile Galle. Nature and symbolism, influences from Japan" heldin Vic-sur_Seine, France.
