Le Carre Hermes Paris > Automne - Hiver 1996/97
It is the moment when all are united in the service of one, and when the symphony regales us with the charms of the solo. The concerto, a form invented according to some, by the Italian violinist Torelli, and carried later to its zenith by the magisterial hand of Beethoven, puts into practice the motto of the Musketeers: "All for one and one for all!" A simple proof that music improves manners: it is, in all respects, a school of perfect harmony.
