Couvertures Et Tenues De Jour

Histoires De Carres > Autumn-Winter 2020

Presenting a multitude of patterns and colours, Couvertures et tenues de jour is a glimpse of equestrian fashion. Neatly framed with leather bridles, each of these horses wears a rug adorned with its owner's monogram and suited to the time of day, whether in the stable, while waiting, or at the presentation. The French-style rug is fastened at the horse's breast; a one-piece rug fastened on the top of the head is known as American-style; and fly-sheet rugs protect the horse from insects in summer. This emblematic design is offered this season in a new double-sided version, with a bandana-style monochrome reverse.
