Taking Wing

Since biblical times the dove, carrier of the olive branch, has signified that the elements are subsiding, that disaster is receding and that Man, at last reconciled with Heaven, can release his hopes, which take wing towards an abundant future. The whte bird lets us know too that life is a prison only for those who shut themselves away, refusing to face the world, in quest of a burning su and a magnificent rainbow.
