The biblical Ark sails on the sea of Armenian sensibility, its wake an illuminated border patterned like oriental carpets. Rising above the diluvian surface, the peak of Mount Ararat breaks the waves, its fabulous gardens home to Earth’s escaping creatures.  The story has a happy ending: witness, in the four corners of this scarf, a bird flying into a rainbow of optimism, its beak bearing the branch of salvation.
