MEDITERRANEAN

The soul is measured by its capacity to go against the current, and it is against the current that the Mediterranean insinuates itself within France, flowing up to the Rhone in successive waves, from the Camargue up to Switzerland. There it infiltrates Lake Luman and gathers dashing Alpine torrents before joining its original impulse by the foot of the lofty Furka. The Mediterranean is a liquid spirit, a flowing soul, a seeping culture spreading its vigour throughout the land.
