Circa 1963 - Issued for the Courvoisier cognac house
- Courvoisier is a French cognac house founded in Jarnac, in the Charentes region, in 1836. The origin of the name Courvoisier goes back to 1809, when Emmanuel Courvoisier created a wine and brandy trading business in Bercy (Paris 12e). In 1811, the establishment had the honour of welcoming Napoleon for a visit of the Bercy warehouses.
