La Carre Hermes > Autumn-Winter 2008
How deliciously perishable are these marvels, the petal decorations assembled each morning on the earth by the women of Keralsa, in the south-est of india, at the time of the harvests. These floral tributes wreathing the thresholds of the houses are a consecration of transience, which invites us to taste the enchantment of our fleeting lives. And so that this enchantment can be better shared, hermes is dedicating this carre, as a token of generosity, to a practical objective: the sales will go to help pay for the studies of young Indians.
