Le Carre Hermes Paris > Printemps - Ete 1997

These figurines and African masks from different periods belonged to tribal chieftains and were handed down from generation to generation as tokens of power or objects of ritual. The four bands framing the scarf are ntshaks and are used by women to drape themselves with.
