- The Arabian oryx, or white oryx, is an antelope-like animal from the Arabian Peninsula. It is the national animal of Qatar, Middle East. The design of the scarf is an artistic composition of the Arabic and English alphabets.

Arabian Oryx
- A medium sized antelope with a distinct shoulder bump, long straight horns and a tufted tail. It's coat is almost luminous white. Undersides and legs are brown with black stripes where the neck meets the body.
- Native to the dessert and the steppe areas of the Arabian Peninsula.
- They diet mainly on grasses and plant material. They can detect rainfall from a distance and follow in the direction of fresh plant growth.
- In addition to Qatar, it is the national animal of Jordon, Oman , UAE and Bahrain
