Robe Du Soir Marble Special Issue was created using a psychedelic marble print and is bursting with vivid colors. This feature is the product of a rare expertise, hand-crafted by marble painting master Moriyoshi in Kyoto, Japan. Moriyoshi has been developing his marble painting expertise for over 40 years. It took Hermes more than a decade to find and design the marble silk scarves with this world-heritage technique. A paste dipped in different colored pigments is skillfully blended together and cut up to form patterns that will be printed on white silk. each carre is unique.

Florence Manlik's original Robe du Soir scarf depicted a horse made of trimmings. The mane, shadows of the coatr and outline of the harness were composed of braiding, cords and piping. The newest version of the design depicts clean lines and pure, flat-tinted colors. Robe do Soir Pop brings a renewed vivacity to the composition, leaping bringing a new vivacity to the composition and bursting onto the stage of the pop-art scene.
