Carres d'art > Carres Hermes Editions Limitees
Circa 1962 - Issued for the airline Air Algerie, for the twin-engine Caravelle (presumed) In 1960, Air Algerie bought its first Caravelle and expanded its fleet, to meet the density of its traffic between France and Algeria. Note: This square is commonly called after the name of the seaplane Noroit, but in the corner of the square one can recognize the stylized logo of the Caravelle, as it was drawn on the logo of Air Algerie Caravelle, in force in 1960.
