- the Association for Forests, Development and Conservation (AFDC) is an NPO, created in 1993, which aims in particular to ensure the sustainable conservation of natural resources. One year after the opening of the Hermes boutique in Beirut, Hermes created the limited edition Carre Sous le cedre du Liban to support the reforestation of the cedar forests of Chouf and Tannourine in Lebanon.
