The drawing of Pierre Peron's scarf published in honour of the nuclear submarines was used to pay tribute to the first 4 of 6 nuclear submarines of the French National Navy which were at the origin of the Le Redoutable class. These submarines entered service between 1971 and 1985 and were then one of the 3 vectors of the French nuclear deterrent. Le Tonnant (1980-1999) and L'inflexible (1985-2006) were not printed in a special edition scarf.
