H Carre > Fall-Winter 2002
Tsitsika, for the Indians who inhabited the American Pacific coast between Alaska and Washington State, marked the arrival of the Potlatch – a fabulous bird celebrated with great displays when it burst from the Ocean to sing of the ties between Man and a Nature so full of mysteries. But soon came the Palefaces, announcing even stronger ties with science and technology. And the Potlatch became disheartened and never left his depths again.
