Le Carre Hermes Paris >> Automne - Hiver 1994 / 95

This scarf, a true showcase for the Museum of Cairo, leads us to the final sleep of the Pharaoh whose tomb, with all its treasures intact, was discovered in 1922 by Howard Carter and Lord Carnavon, those lords of the Valley of the Kings. Around the death mask, we see Anubis with his dog's head, god of the dead, and statues of the young king walking. Above, the breastplate found on the mummy, picturing the Vulture of Nakabit clutching the ring of the cycle of infinity.
